Privacy notes

These notes explain how Recoup handles case information during the current early-access, manual-review stage. They are not a full legal policy, but they set the operating expectations for merchants using the service.

What we collect

We collect the case details you choose to submit, such as the issue type, support context, documents already provided, amount at risk, timing, and desired outcome. You should not submit passwords, full payment card numbers, private keys, or unnecessary identity documents.

How we use case information

We use submitted details to generate your free case analysis, create a case reference, and continue the same case if you request professional manual review. Case information may also be used in privacy-safe, anonymized form to improve recovery patterns and product quality.

Sensitive information

Recoup is designed to work from practical case context rather than raw sensitive records. Please remove or mask customer personal data, full account numbers, and confidential platform credentials before submitting.

Manual review

While payments are not live, professional review is arranged manually by email or X. If you contact us with a case reference, we may use that reference to retrieve the submitted case context and prepare upgraded materials.
